This Course is written by Traditional Practitioner – Veda Kovid and Yoga and Ayurveda Teacher Durgadas, who has studied the traditional system of Ashtavaidya Keraliya Ayurvedaincluding the deeper sides of Clinical Ayurveda, Ayurvedic Pharmacy and Astrology and is a study-guide of his books. He was grown up in a traditional Brahmin Vedic lineage spanning several generations and is a student of Dr. David Frawley (Pandit Vamadeva Shastri), the noted author and authority on Traditional and Spiritual Ayurveda and Vedic teachings.
Mantra-Yoga and Healing is about more about just chanting random mantras. In fact, it is a science itself that has many subtleties, including working with breathing techniques (pranayamas) in Yoga, as well as sacred images, empowering them and working with Deities as well as knowing the basics of Ayurveda, the medical system of India so that one can use specific mantras based on conditions, a person’s individual nature or infusing herbs with various powers, as well as working with the doctrine of karma.
